Dr. Claire Welsh is the president and founder of Care More
Chiropractic Center. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic
degree from Life Chiropractic College in 1988, where she
graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is a member of the prestigious Pi
Tau Delta International Chiropractic Honor Society and was
listed in Who's Who of American Universities. In addition she
has received numerous merit awards and appeared on the National
Dean's List throughout her entire student career at Life.
Dr. Claire received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the
College of White Plains, Pace University in New York. Her
background includes work as a bacteriologist at a medical
hospital. In addition, she taught special education classes at
the high school level as well as preschool classes.
She considers her greatest accomplishments their 3 children:
Kristen and Stephen who are twins, and Kevin.
Dr. Claire was recently elected to serve as the President of the
Georgia Council of
Chiropractic. Dr. Claire Welsh was honored by
the Georgia Council of Chiropractic as the Chiropractor of the
Year for 2001. In 2004 she was inducted as an inaugural Fellow
of Life University where she is also a member of the President's
Circle. In 2005 and 2007 Dr. Claire served as the
International Chiropractic Association delegate to
the World Federation of Chiropractic. In 2006 she was elected as
a Distinguished Fellow of the ICA, and currently serves in the
ICA Representative Assembly for the state of Georgia. She is
frequently a guest lecturer at Life University, and is called
upon as a guest speaker at conferences of her peers, women's
professional organizations, and student groups and finds that
mentoring within the chiropractic profession most rewarding.
